High throughput genotyping using Illumina Infinium arrays is available for a wide range of species, from human to plants. Illumina offer as well custom arrays as predesigned arrays. For human, there are arrays available targeting certain aspects in the genome or whole genome arrays, for other species there are mainly whole genome arrays. Array based genotyping is available from a minimum of 48 individual for predesigned Illumina arrays.
The Genomics platform possess 2 Illumina iScan with Autoloader. With the available equipment several thousands of samples ca be processed weekly.
